This is an application for early hearing.

In view of the observations of this Court in the order dated 31st October, 2018 in paragraph-7, the applicant had filed application seeking stay to the conviction, in the alternative to put up the matter for final hearing. By an order dated 31/10/2018, more particularly, in paragraph-7 this Court has observed that it would not be possible to grant alternative prayer. The applicant has challenged this order before the Hon'ble Supreme Court by filing Special Leave to Appeal No. 10486/2018. In the order dated 14/12/2018 the Apex court had granted liberty to the applicant to renew the prayer for early hearing. In view of this, the present application has been filed. This Court is hearing the Talwalkar

21.appa8.19.doc appeals of the year 2014 in which the accused are in jail and are on the verge of completing their substantive sentence. In view of this, the matter cannot be fixed for final hearing as on today. The applicant would be at liberty to renew the prayer for final hearing in first week of April, 2019.
