After having heard Mr. Patil appearing for the Petitioner, we are of the view that the Petitioner has a alternate equally efficacious remedy of a Election Petition, in which the entire process can be questioned. Presently, when the programme has reached the stage of withdrawal of nomination papers and, thereafter, publication of the list of contesting candidates and polling, if any, we are not inclined to interfere in writ jurisdiction. The Writ Petition is disposed off as the Petitioner has a complete and effective remedy as above.
