The Applicant has sought pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 542/2021 (R.C.C. No. 1177/2022) registered with Jail Road Police Station, District-Solapur City for the offences punishable under Section 3(1)(a), 3(1)(zz), 26(1), 26(2), 26(2)(i), 26(2)(a), 26(2) (v), 27(3)(e) & 59 of Food Safety and Standard Act, 2006 and under Section 272, 273 & 328 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that 428 bottles of fruit beer, worth Rs. 12,840/- were seized from the co-accused. It is alleged that the Applicant herein was the manufacturer of the said fruit beer bottles, which were found to be of sub-standard quality. 1/2

Considering the role attributed to the Applicant, this Court by order dated 11/01/2022 had granted interim bail to the Applicant, which is extended from time to time.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the charge-sheet is ready to file before the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class. 5.

In the light of said statement made by learned counsel for the Applicant and considering the nature of allegations made against the Applicant, interim bail granted by order dated 11/01/2022 stands confirmed.
