(1) Learned A.P.P. on instructions from Mr. Shamkant Shedge, In-charge Superintendent, Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba, Kolhapur, submitted that in view of the Order dated 19th April, 2024 passed by Home Department, Government of Maharashtra under Section 433-A of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Petitioner has been released from jail by pardoning his balance of sentence. He produced on record a copy of Order dated 19th April, 2024 passed by the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra along with a covering letter dated 22nd April 2024, addressed to the Office of Public Prosecutor, High Court, Appellate Side, Mumbai. The same are taken on record. (2) In view of the above, the Petition is worked out and is accordingly disposed off.
