Leave to amend cause-title in respect of Respondent No.3 is granted. Amendment be carried out forthwith. The learned counsel for the Petitioner, at the outset, has brought to our notice the order dated 31.3.2016 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.2207 of 2016 in Vinod Laxman Shelkar and Anr. v. State of Maharashtra and Anr. He submits that the issue involved in this Petition is squarely covered by the aforesaid order. This position is not disputed by the learned AGP.

10WP449016.doc For the reasons stated in the order dated 31.3.2016 passed in Vinod Laxman Shelkar and Anr. (Supra), we set aside the impugned order and issue directions referred in prayer clauses and direct Respondent No.3 to consider a fresh proposal submitted by the Respondent No.4 Institution for approval of appointment of the Petitioner.
Respondent No.3 shall take decision as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. The Petition stands disposed of.
