Today the matter is shown on production board pursuant to the praecipe dated 24.2.2020 filed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner for urgent orders.

Heard learned Senior Counsel Mr. Prasad Dhakephalkar for the petitioner and learned Counsel Mr. Hemant Ghadigaonkar for respondent No.1.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the present Writ Petition, the respondents preferred application before the Caste Scrutiny Committee challenging the petitioner's caste validity certificate. He 1 / 2
508.wp.1513-20.odt submits that during pendency of the present Writ Petition, the Caste Scrutiny Committee passed order dated 24.2.2020 invalidating the caste certificate of the petitioner.

Advocate Mr. Hemant Ghadigaonkar appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 placed on record a photo-copy of the said order dated 24.2.2020.

Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the subsequent development that the Caste Scrutiny Committee passed the final order dated 24.2.2020, he has received instructions, to withdraw present Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition challenging the order dated 24.2.2020 passed by the Caste Scrutiny Committee along with the issues raised by them in the present Writ Petition. To that effect, the Advocate for the petitioner has given in writing. Same is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. Same is accepted.

Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. No order as to costs.
