Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioners.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioners requested for some time to take instructions. These petitions pray for the following substantive reliefs :

"b) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other directions in the nature of Mandamus or any appropriate Writ against the Respondent No.3 and thereby directing to the Respondent No.3 to register two wheelers CB Unicorn BS-IV model Engine bearing No.KC31 EA11 21141 and Chassis bearing No.ME4K C315 HKA121193 owned by the Petitioner by allowing the Application for registration.

c) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other directions in the nature of Mandamus or any appropriate Writ against the Respondent No.3 and thereby directing to the Respondent No.3 to inspect the documents and vehicle if requires and also directing to the Respondent No. 3 accept registration fees to the Petitioner vehicle."

Learned Counsel for the Petitioners submitted that he could get in touch with some of the Petitioners. It was indicated that vehicles have since been registered in respect of some of the Petitioners, the cause in this petition as against them does not survive. 7 of

It is further submitted by learned Counsel for the Petitioners that there are certain orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.4026 of 2021 [Mayur Nandkumar Yelmar v. State of Maharashtra] being order dated 11th August 2021 and in Writ Petition No. 8093 of 2025 [Shatrugna R. Kulkarni v. State of Maharashtra] dated 9th July 2025 which squarely cover the issue involved in these petitions and, hence vehicle registration needs to be granted by the Registering Authority. If that is so, it is open for the Petitioners to bring to the notice of Registering Authority the orders passed by this Court in above cited cases. Respondent No.3 is bound to take necessary action in terms of the observations made by this Court in above referred orders.

This may be brought to the notice of Respondent No.3 by the Petitioners in respect of vehicles which are not registered. If such request is made, Respondent No.3 shall consider and decide such representations in the light of observations made by this Court in the above referred orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of representation.

Keeping all contentions open, writ petitions are disposed of. 7.

No order as to costs.
