The Petitioner prays for a relief directing the Respondent No.5 - Education Officer to decide the proposal sent by the Respondent No.6 - Educational Institution and Head Master of the Respondent No.7 for grant of individual approval to the appointment of the Petitioner in the post of 'Peon' at Respondent No.7 - Secondary School w.e.f. 1st July 2016 within a time bound manner.

Learned AGP opposed the petition. He submits that though the individual approval is sought w.e.f. 1st July 2016, the proposal was Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

10-4992-2023-CWP=.doc actually submitted on 30th September 2022 and there is delay in submitting the proposal.

We are inclined to direct the Respondent No.5 - Education Officer to decide the proposal within a period of 8 weeks from the communication of this order. The objections raised by the learned AGP are matters to be considered by the Respondent No.5 - Education Officer. The proposal is to be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law within the stipulated period. In case the proposal is approved, the Deputy Director of Education to issue the Shalarth ID to the Petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of approval.
