This is an application under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure for bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 159 of 2021 registered at Atpadi Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 504, 506, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
The complainant/injured is the wife of the present applicant. According to the prosecution, the present applicant used to suspect the character of the complainant. It is alleged that, thus, on 29/04/2021, the present applicant assaulted the complainant by hammer and kitchen knife and attempted to kill her. 4.
I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the A. J. Vallakati 1/2

Admittedly, on the date of alleged incident, the applicant and the complainant were married for 12 years. Prima facie the incident does not appear to be premeditated. Applicant is in jail for more than one and half years. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. In the result, following order is passed:
ORDER
A) The Application is allowed.
B) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 159 of 2021 registered at Atpadi Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 504, 506, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
C) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station once in a month i.e. on the first Saturday between 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. till the conclusion of trial.
