P.C.:­ By a reasoned order dated 24th January, 2018, the Applicant was granted ad­interim relief and was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates, to join the process of investigation.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Applicants and the learned APP. Perused the record.

Prima facie, it appears that, the role attributed to the Applicants in respect of the injuries is assault by fist and kick blows. The role of brandishing revolver is attributed to Mr. Piyush who is a juvenile in conflict with law. Admittedly, there is no allegation of use 1/2

ssm 2 15-aba146.18.doc of any weapons by the Applicants in the present crime. After perusing the entire record, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the Applicants for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary. In view thereof, interim relief granted by Order dated 24th January 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to report to the concerned police station is waived.
