The limited relief sought in the above Petition is to direct Respondent No.3 to decide the Grampanchayat Complaint Application No.99 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.

The learned AGP has stated that the hearing in the above matter is concluded and the parties are directed to file their written submissions on or before 13th May, 2024.

Considering these peculiar circumstances, we dispose of the above Writ Petition by directing Respondent No.3 to decide the Grampanchayat Complaint Application No.99 of 2023 by 28th June, 2024. In other words, under any circumstances, whether written submissions of the parties are filed or otherwise, the Grampanchayat Complaint Application No.99 of 2023 shall be decided by Respondent No.3 on or before 28th June, 2024.

We make it clear to Respondent No.3 that if our directions are not complied with, we shall not hesitate to haul him up for contempt.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
