The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with CR No.24 of 2020 registered with Tasgaon Police Station, District Sangli for the offences under Sections 452, 354-A, 354-D and 506 of Indian Penal Code.

The FIR is lodged on 12th January 2020 alleging that the applicant had threatened the complainant that he would disclose the relationship to her in-laws. Learned counsel for applicant submitted that the applicant and the complainant were in relationship. There are text messages and photographs.

The applicant was granted interim protection vide order dated 6th February 2020 and directed to attend the Investigating Officer on 12th to 14th February 2020. It is submitted by learned counsel for applicant that the applicant has complied the said direction and cooperated with investigation.

In view of facts of this case, the applicant need not be subjected to custodial interrogation and case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Hence, I pass following order :
ORDER
(i) Criminal Anticipatory Bail Application No.322 of 2020 is allowed and disposed of;
(ii) In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with CR No.24 of 2020 registered with Tasgaon Police Station, District Sangli, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
