Perused the praecipe dated 16th February, 2021, fled by the learned Additional Government Pleader referring to our orders dated 8th February, 2021, 9th February, 2021 and 10th February, 2021 directing the District Collectors to consider the above Writ Petitions fled by the Petitioners as representations made to the Collector, and after giving them a hearing, decide the same on or before 16th February, 2021. We are informed that, accordingly most of the District Collectors have concluded the hearing and taken decision, however, in some Grampanchayats, it was noticed that the provisions prescribed by Section 30 (5) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959 have not been followed and therefore there is a need to change the reservations. It is therefore submitted that time to complete the hearing may be extended upto 22nd February, 2021. In view thereof, time to complete the hearing is extended upto 22nd February, 2021.
