P.C:- The Applicant was convicted for offence punishable under Section 138 of the N.I. Act. Therefore, sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for six months and to pay compensation/fine amount of Rs.1,20,000/-. He was unsuccessful in his appeal against conviction and sentence as well. He is, therefore, before this Court in revision. The Applicant has been arrested on 16 January. 2.

Learned Advocate for the Applicant makes a statement that

2/3 a sum of Rs.1,20,000/- would be deposited with the trial court within a period of three weeks from the date of this order. 3.

In view of the aforesaid statement, substantive sentence of imprisonment of the Applicant to stand stayed pending the revision application. If the Applicant fails to deposit a sum of Rs.1,20,000/- within a time-frame of three weeks', the order granting him bail to stand cancelled without reference to this Court. 4.

The Applicant be released on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) and Surety Bond in the like amount.

The Applicant be released on P.R. Bond immediately. Bail before the trial court.

Application for suspension of sentence (Interim Application No.343 of 2023) stands disposed of. 7.

Issue notice to the Respondents in Criminal Revision Application No.33 of 2023 returnable on 23 February 2023. 8.

Stand over to 15 February 2023 for compliance of the order.
