The petitioner contends that since the petitioner has been working with respondent college for a period of about 18 years, services of the petitioner should be regularised from the date of her initial appointment.

2] Admittedly, the petitioner has not been in a position to show following aspects:-

YBG 54­wp­2033­14 (a) that the appointment of petitioner was against a clear and vacant post;

(b) that the appointment was in pursuance to an advertisement duly approved by the University and Joint Director of Education;

(c) that the petitioner has undergone the selection process as required under the Maharashtra Universities Act; (d) that petitioner's appointment as a full time Librarian has been approved by respondent No.1 University and the Joint Director of Higher and Technical Education;

3] On the contrary, the letter placed on record would show that petitioner's appointment was purely on clock hour basis. 4] In that view of the matter, we do not find that any case is made out for interference in our writ jurisdiction. Hence, petition is rejected.
