Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to adopt an alternate remedy of filing a revision application under section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies, Act. Leave granted with liberty as prayed. Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to adopt an alternate appropriate remedy as permissible in law. 2.

If the petitioner adopts an alternate remedy within four weeks from today, the petitioner will be entitled to seek the benefit of the period of pendency of the petition for seeking condonation of delay. Page no. 1 of 2

It is clarified that, I have not examined the rival contentions of the parties on merits. Hence, all contentions of all parties are kept open.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks extension of adinterim relief granted by this court. To enable the petitioner to seek appropriate relief before the revisional authority, ad-interim protection granted by this Court on 21st February 2023, shall continue for a period of eight weeks from today, subject to the petitioner filing appropriate proceedings within four weeks from today 5.
