The Petitioner had moved an Application to obtain a firearm license. His Application was turned down on the ground that new rules came into force with effect from 15/07/2016. Learned advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would apply afresh in terms of new rules.

In view of the same, if the Petitioner moves an Application for firearm license in terms of the rules dated 15/07/2016, the authorities concerned shall decide his application within the time frame of 08 1/2
