In the instant case, the enhancement amount awarded by the SLAO of Rs.18,000/- for compensation, which is enhanced by the reference Court to Rs.35,000/-.

In terms of the decision of the State Government by notification dated 3rd November, 2016 and 11th May, 2018, the State Government has taken policy decision not to challenge the award passed by reference Court where the enhancement is less than four 1/2

Shantanu Dhudum 216-FA-602-2001.doc times in the rural area and the less than two times in the urban areas. The policy is also applicable to the pending references. Hence, in the instant case, the enhancement is less than four times by the reference Court the same would be covered within the above noted notifications.

In view of the above notifications, the learned AGP seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal. The appeal is disposed of as withdrawn.
