This is a submission made by the registry pursuant to the request made by the Ad-hoc District Judge-1 and Additional Sessions Judge, Kolhapur seeking extension of four months time to dispose of Regular Civil Suit No.1145 of 2000. Vide order dated 21st February, 2022, this court had directed to the Trial Court to decide the suit within a period of nine months which order was communicated to the learned Judge on 2nd March, 2022. In his communication dated 8th December, 2022, the learned District Judge has set out the progress report of the matter from Priya Soparkar
2 18 wp 6438-21-c.odt paragraphs 3 to 13. Perusal of the same indicates that the suit is at an advanced stage of evidence and it will be in the interest of justice if some time is granted. In this view of the matter, the time granted to the learned Judge to dispose the Regular Civil Suit No.1145 of 2000 is extended by a period of four months. It is made clear that since this is a suit of the year 2000, the learned Judge may expend the necessary time and energy for its early disposal.
