We have perused the memo of the petition. This petition is iled through the Power of Attorney. The petitioner is the owner / possessor of the suit property. It is submitted that the property was acquired by the Government of India for the purpose of Pandharpur - Mohol highway. The amount of the compensation for acquiring the property is with the respondent no.1 - Collector, Solapur. 3.
The petitioner prays that the respondent no.1 be directed to release the amount of compensation in favour of the petitioner. Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

We direct the respondent no.1 to treat this petition as a representation. If the petitioner is found to be entitled for compensation, the same be paid over to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of 10 weeks from the date of placing this order on record of the Collector, Solapur. 5.
We request learned AGP to inform the Collector, Solapur of this order. The Collector, Solapur to issue notice to the petitioner. 6.
In such view of the matter, if the petitioner - Arshadayub Latif Majawar is entitled to the compensation, the Collector, Solapur to immediately take steps to ensure that the amount is paid in the account of petitioner - Arshadayub Latif Majawar. 7.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
