The learned counsel for the appellant informs that the appellant expired on 25 April 2019 at Wadarwadi, Dist. Ahmednagar. Copy of the death certificate is placed on record.

The respondent wife had filed a petition under section 18 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, claiming maintenance from the appellant husband. Such petition being partly allowed against which the appellant/husband in the present proceedings. 3.

At the the time of petition was filed by the respondent wife, she was 67 years of age and the appellant was 75 years of age. The appellant presently would have been 87 years of age.

In this view of the matter, the proceedings stands abated. 5.

Disposed of.
