Taken on board on a praecipe moved on behalf of the petitioners, seeking extension of two weeks for compliance of the directions in regard to the paragraph 6 of the order dated 27th September 2021. By the directions, as contained in such paragraph, the petitioners were directed that the amount as directed by the Tribunal, be paid within ten days to respondent No.1 from the date of the said order and that there shall not be any further extension. It is also observed that in the event the amount is not paid, the Gaikwad RD 1/2
502.WPNo.8832021.doc respondent No.1 is permitted to initiate appropriate proceedings. In view of clear directions of the Court in Paragraph 6 further extension of time cannot be granted.
However, learned Counsel for the petitioners has pointed out that order was uploaded on 1st October 2021 and hence seeks indulgence. This ought not be a ground as the petitioners were aware about the said directions and such direction was issued in the presence of the learned Counsel for petitioners. In fact, his prayer for longer time was not accepted and the period was confined to 10 days.
Only as an indulgence and as a last chance, the request for extension for a limited period of one week is granted. The petitioner shall comply with the directions within one week from today.
If the order is not complied, liberty to respondent No.1 to initiate appropriate proceedings including for contempt of the orders passed by this Court.
