The Applicants, apprehending their arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 10 of 2021 registered with Chiplun Police Station, Dist. Ratnagiri under Section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 of I.P.C. are seeking pre-arrest bail. 2.
The Applicants are husband and wife. The aforesaid crime is registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by Sameer Ibrahim Mapari, resident of Amrit Nagar, Mumbra, District Thane.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. Perused record.

The learned Sessions Judge by an order dated 10.01.2022 has rejected the application for anticipatory bail inter alia on the ground that during the period of interim bail, the Applicants have not attended the Investigating Officer and have not cooperated as directed by the Court. 5.
The learned APP on instructions states that Applicants may be directed to join the investigation and to co-operate in the matter. The learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that this Court may pass appropriate order as may be deemed just and necessary.

In such circumstances and in view of the specific statement made on behalf of the State and the learned counsel for the Applicants that the Applicants shall scrupulously report to the Investigating Officer as directed, the following order is passed.
ORDER
i) In the event of their arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 10 of 2021 registered with Chiplun Police Station, Dist. Ratnagiri, the Applicants shall be released on bail on executing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each with one or two solvent sureties each in the like amount. Sneha Chavan page 2 of 3
ii) The Applicants shall report to the Investigating Officer on 20, 21 and 22 February 2022 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and as and when required by the Investigating Officer. iii) The Applicants to furnish their specimen handwritings/ signatures/ thumb impressions, if required by the Investigating Officer.
iv) The Applicants shall co-operate with the Investigating Agency and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence/witnesses.

The criminal application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
