In the instant case, the amount awarded by the SLAO of Rs.2,17,119/- for acquiring the claimant's land is enhanced by the Reference Court to Rs.2,94,000/-.

In terms of the policy decision of the State Government by notifications dated 3rd November 2016 and 11th May 2018, the State Government has taken a policy decision not to challenge the award passed by the Reference Court where the enhancement is less than four times over the compensation granted by the SLAO in the rural area. 3.

In view of the Government's policy decision in terms of the above notifications, the learned AGP seeks leave to withdraw the appeal. The appeal is disposed of as withdrawn.

Liberty to apply for refund of court fees to be processed in SHUBHADA SHANKAR KADAM accordance with law.
