In the instant case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer ('SLAO') has granted compensation of Rs. 23,341/- which is further IRESH MASHAL enhanced by the Reference Court by Rs. 42,006/-. The amount being by IRESH MASHAL Date:

2025.12.15 14:43:30 +0530 meagre, this Court would not entertain the appeal filed by the State and the appeal is accordingly dismissed.

It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals, where the quantum of compensation granted is large.
