By a judgment and order dated 20.11.2015, the appeal was partly allowed and the appellant was acquitted of the charge under Section 307 of IPC and was convicted under Section 324 of iPC and was sentenced to the period already undergone. The appellant was directed to pay fine amount of Rs.10,000/- before the Sessions Court within 8 weeks. The Judgment seems to be upheld on 23.12.2015. None had appeared for the

Mhi 2 APPA-227-16.sxw appellant and therefore, this Court, taking into consideration that the appeal is of the yar 1994, had requested Shri Omkar Nagvekar to espouse the cause of the appellant. This Court had decided the matter on 20.11.2015. 3.

Today, the applicant is seeking extension of time for depositing the fine amount, which has been filed through Advocate Shri Ritesh M. Thobde. None appeared for the appellant.

Taking into consideration the averments in the application, time for depositing the fine amount of Rs.10,000/- is extended by four weeks from 1.3.2016. The applicant shall deposit the amount on or before 30.3.2016. Upon failure, the larned Sessions Court shall take appropriate action.
