Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner on instructions of the Petitioner No.1 who is present in Court, seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to adopt appropriate proceedings. Petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 2.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and all rights and contentions of all the parties are expressly kept open.

Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks extension of status quo for a period of two weeks which was granted by order dated 19th March 2023. The said request is opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No. 1. Considering that the liberty has Patil-SR 1 of

903 wp 2828-23.doc been granted to the Petitioner to file appropriate proceedings, the order of status quo is extended for a period of two weeks from today. It is made clear that the concerned authority before whom any proceedings will be taken out by the Petitioner is not to be influenced by the order of status quo granted by this Court and to decide the prayer for interim relief on its own merits and in accordance with law.
