By filing these petitions, the petitioners are seeking direction to the respondent no. 4 to consider and take appropriate decision expeditiously in regard to the proposals submitted by the Education Institution which according to the petitioners are minority institutions, for approval of the petitioner's appointment on the post of Jr. Clerk (Shikshan Sevak)/Peon. 3.
Having regard to the aforesaid limited prayer, we dispose of these petitions by directing the Education Officer to consider and take appropriate decision on the said proposals in accordance with law. While deciding the petitioner's claim, the Education Officer shall also taken into consideration the law laid down by the Division Bench of this court in the case of The Canossa Society and Anr. Vs. The Commissioner, Social Welfare and Ors., in Writ Petition No.1049 of 2012 decided on 7 th May, 2014 and in case the same is applicable to the petitioners proposal, the benefits according to it be given.

Needless to say that we have not examined the merits of the matters and Education Officer is free to decide the proposals in question as aforesaid in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
