The praecipe seeking circulation said that the matter related to 'removal of garbage and waste from water bodies'. We granted circulation on that basis today and looked at the Petition, we fnd that this is not the cause of action in the petition at all. 2.

Prayer (a) asks for an order that the Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Forest Ministry in Maharashtra take back an order that is 14 years old, passed on 9th December 2009. It prohibited certain excavation and desilting work because of a perceived threat to the Ujani dam.
