Learned counsel for the applicant states that the provisions of The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, are applied to this offence and, therefore, the appropriate remedy would be to file an appeal under section 14-A of the said Act. He seeks withdrawal of this application with liberty to file appropriate proceeding.
