Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the Respondent­State.

By this application, the applicant seeks his enlargement on bail in connection with C.R.No.13/2016 registered with the ACB, Kudal, Sindhudurg on 18th February 2016.

According to prosecution, the applicant, who is the Village Development Officer had demanded a bribe of Rs.1,000/­ from the complainant. Pursuant to the said N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

913-ba-360-2016 demand, a trap was laid and the applicant was arrested accepting the said amount. The applicant was thereafter remanded to police custody and he is presently in judicial custody. Considering the aforesaid the applicant is enlarged on bail on the following terms and conditions.

ORDER

(i) The applicant be enlarged on bail, on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/­ with one or two sureties in the like amount;

(ii) The applicant shall not tamper or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case;

(iii) Parties to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
