First Appeal challenges the Judgment and Award dated 27th October, 2004 passed in L.A.R. No. 76 of 1996. By the impugned judgment, Reference Court has enhanced the compensation awarded by the SLAO from Rs. 63,406/- to Rs. 2,00,500/-. 2.
By Government Resolutions dated 3rd November 2016 and 11th May 2018, the Government of Maharashtra has taken a conscious decision not to challenge the enhancement made by the Reference Court if the enhancement is within the limit of 4 times of the compensation awarded by SLAO.

In the light of above Government Resolutions, First Appeal is permitted to be withdrawn.

Refund of Court fees as per Rules.

In view of the withdrawal of First Appeal, nothing survives for consideration in the pending civil/interim applications and the same stand disposed of.
