The above Writ Petitions have been filed interalia for the relief viz. to hold and declare that shifting of Weavers Service Centre from Mumbai to Nagpur is against public and national interest as also against the policy of the Government of India and for the relief to quash and set aside the decision of the Respondents to shift Weavers Service Centre from Mumbai to Nagpur, to hold and declare that the decision of the Respondents to vacate and hand over lgc

Sopariwala Estate is illegal against public and national interest and against the policy of the Government of India and to quash and set aside the decision of the Respondents to vacate and hand over the present premises to M/s. Sopariwala.
The above Writ Petitions are of the year 2008. On behalf of the Respondents an affidavit has been filed by one K K Baviskar - the Director, Western Zone, Weavers' Service Centre, Mumbai, having office at the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi . In paragraph 23 of the said affidavit it is stated to the following effect : "23 With reference to para 11.v(x) of the Petition, I say that it is as fact that the contents of this para is not correct. No decision has been taken to vacate and hand over the premises."
In view of the averment made in the said paragraph 23 of the affidavit, the grievance of the Petitioner does not survive for the present. The above Writ Petitions to accordingly stand disposed of. In view of the disposal of the Writ Petitions, the Review Petition Stamp No.22037 of 2008 does not survive and the same to accordingly stand disposed of. Liberty to file a Petition if the occasion so arises in future.
