The petitioner claims that he was appointed on 14th June, 2013 by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 on the post of Lab Attendant. His grievance is that though respondent Nos. 3 and 4 have submitted proposal dated 16th August, 2013 (Exhibit D) to respondent No.2 for grant of approval of the petitioner's appointment on the said post, the proposal has not been considered and no decision on it has been taken as yet. 2.

Having regard to the aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing respondent No.2 - Education Officer 1/2

26. WP 2846-18.doc (Secondary) to consider and to take appropriate decision on the said proposal dated 16th August, 2013 (Exhibit D) as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.

Needless to say that we have not examined the merits of the matter and respondent No. 2 ­ Education Officer (Secondary) shall decide the proposal in accordance with law. 4.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
