Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that his externment appeal is pending before Respondent No.2 - Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Region, Pune. He submits that the said appellate authority may be directed to decide the said appeal within a stipulated period.

In that view of the matter, we direct the appellate authority i.e., the Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Region, Pune, to decide the pending appeal, if not decided already, as

45_wp.1069.2021.doc expeditious as possible, however, within a period of two weeks from the receipt of the copy of this order, on its own merits, after adhering to the principles of natural justice. After taking such decision, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner. 3.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed off accordingly.
