First Appeal challenges the Judgment and Award dated 20.07.2001 passed in L.A.R. No. 123 of 1995 By the impugned judgment, Reference Court has enhanced the compensation to Rs. 9,45,000/- from the compensation of Rs. 4,40,821/- awarded by SLAO. 2.

By Government Resolutions dated 3rd November 2016 and 11th May 2018, the Government of Maharashtra has taken a conscious decision not to challenge the enhancement made by the Reference Court if the enhancement is within the limit of 4 times of the compensation awarded by SLAO.

In light of above Government Resolutions, First Appeal is permitted to be withdrawn.
