DATE: SEPTEMBER 29, 2022 P.C.:- 1] Applicant is seeking regular bail in C.R. No.174 of 2021 registered with Natepute Police Station, Natepute for the offence punishable under Sections 306, 498(A) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

2] Applicant is mother in law of the complainant. Role attributed to the Applicant is that of abetment in suicide. Applicant allegedly was having illicit relations which fact was within the knowledge of the deceased who has objected to the same. As such prosecution has claimed that Applicant's conduct has driven the deceased daughter-inlaw to commit suicide. 3] Prima facie it appears that Applicant was subjected to custodial 1/2

40 BA-808-22.doc interrogation and is behind bars for last more than one year and four months. Applicant is aged 57 years. Applicant is therefore entitled to be released on bail.

4] Applicant is directed to be released on bail in C.R. No.174 of 2021 registered with Natepute Police Station, Natepute for the offence punishable under Sections 306, 498(A) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on executing P.R. Bond of Rs 15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall neither influence the witnesses nor tamper with the evidence. Applicant shall attend the trial regularly.
