A Learned Single Judge by order dated 14th June, 2024 has issued notice as per Rule 9 of the Contempt of Courts (Bombay High Court ) Rules, 1975. Accordingly, Sou Motu Contempt Petition No. 9 of 2024 has been registered. In the said Suo Motu Contempt Petition, Affidavit-in-Reply dated 29th July, 2024 has been filed on behalf of the Respondent - Shrikant Siddheshwar Kamurti.

While issuing contempt notice, the Learned Single Judge in the order dated 14th June, 2024 has recorded that prima facie there is a deliberate and willful breach of the consent terms committed by the Respondent. In
16- WP 2548 of 2024.odt fact, the contents of the Affidavit filed on behalf of the RespondentContempnor shows that the Respondent - Shrikant Siddheshwar Kamurti has committed aggravated contempt.

Mr. Subhash Gutte, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent, on instructions of the Respondent, who is personally present in the Court, states that the Respondent is withdrawing the Affidavit-in-Reply dated 29th July, 2024. He further states that the Respondent will comply with the consent terms and, therefore, seeks time.

Mr. Shrikant Siddheshwar Kamurti- Respondent who is present in the Court states that he is tendering unconditional apology and an Affidavit to that effect will be filed by the next date. The Respondent also states that he will pay costs of Rs.10,000/- to the High Court Legal Services Authority. 5.
Accordingly, stand over to 24th January, 2025 at 2.30 p.m. [MADHAV J. JAMDAR, J.]
