Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for pre-arrest bail by the applicants in connection with C.R. No.167 of 2022 dated 03/04/2022, registered with Vairag Police Station, Solapur, under sections 307, 324, 341, 323, 504, 506, 143, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.

It is alleged that the complainant was stabbed by the accused with a screwdriver. The complainant has suffered 1/3

grievous injury. The medical certificate reveals injury corresponds to a stab injury. No other injuries were reported other than a stab injury. The stab injury is attributed to the co-accused - Dashrath and Vishal. The dispute was over the complainant taking his tractor through the agricultural field belonging to the applicants and their families. The accused objected to the complainant taking the tractor through the agricultural field of the applicants. Thereafter, the complainant was stabbed.

So far as the applicants are concerned, they are women and the role attributed to them is that they have assaulted the complainant by stick on his back, hands and legs. Except for the stab injury, no other injury can be noticed from the medical certificate. The custodial interrogation of the applicants is not necessary. Hence, the following order. Hence, the following order.

O R D E R

(a) In the event of arrest in connection with C.R. No.167 of 2022, registered with Vairag Police Station, Solapur, the applicants- Reshma Haridas Ghongane and Manisha Dashrath Ghongane, shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond 2/3

to the extent of Rs.15,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount;

(b) The applicants shall report to the Investigating Officer on 11/03/2023 and 12/03/2023 between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

and thereafter as and when called;

(c) The applicants shall co-operate with the investigation;

(d) The applicants shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer and shall not tamper with evidence.
