In the instant case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer IRESH MASHAL ('SLAO') has granted compensation of Rs. 2,69,247/- which is further by IRESH MASHAL Date:

2025.12.15 14:43:29 +0530 enhanced by the Reference Court by Rs. 41,650/-. The amount being meagre, this Court would not entertain the appeal filed by the State and the appeal is accordingly dismissed.

It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals, where the quantum of compensation granted is large.
