The challenge in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is to the entry made in the revenue record of the names of the first and the second respondents. It is well settled that by virtue of a mutation entry, no title is conferred. The remedy of the petitioners is to establish their title by approaching the appropriate Court, In view of what is observed above, petition is disposed of. All contentions of the parties on merits are kept open.
