The learned Counsel submits that the complaint fled by the petitioner under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958 is rejected. Against that, the petitioner has fled appeal before respondent No.1 on 24th February 2022. The learned Counsel submits that under the statute the appeal has to be decided within one month. 2.

We have heard the learned AGP.

Considering that the respondent No.1 will be the quasi-judicial authority and the appeal would be required to be decided after hearing of the parties, we pass the following order :

ORDER

(i) The respondent No.1 may endeavour to decide the appeal fled by the petitioner expeditiously and if possible within a period of six months after hearing the parties concerned.
