1] This application has been preferred by the applicant / appellant through jail.

2] By the judgment and order dated 25th October 2017, the appellant has been convicted and sentenced under section 302 of the IPC. Being aggrieved by the said judgment and order, the appellant has preferred criminal appeal (stamp) no. 223 of 2018 through jail. As there is delay in preferring the appeal, the appellant has also preferred an application for condonation of delay and for

29-CRAPPL-367-18 grant of bail.

3] In the present application, the appellant has prayed that an Advocate be appointed from the Legal Aid Panel to represent him in his appeal as well as application for condonation of delay and bail.

4] In view of the prayer made by the applicant / appellant, we appoint Advocate Ms Rohini Dandekar, who is on the panel of Advocates of High Court Legal Services Committee, to represent the appellant in his appeal as well as in the application for condonation of delay as also in the application for bail.

5] The application is allowed in above terms.
