The writ petition is filed due to unavailability of Presiding Officer at Central Government Industrial Tribunal No.II. Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, states that the amount required under Section 7Q of the Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 shall be deposited within one week from today. The petitioner has accordingly made a statement in paragraph 26 of the writ petition.

The statement is accepted as undertaking.

Hence, during pendency of the Appeal before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal No.II, there shall be interim relief in terms of prayer clause (c) of the writ petition. 4.

Needless to state that if the petitioner fails to deposit the amount within one week from today, interim relief granted today shall stand vacated forthwith.

The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms. No costs.
