The Trial Court, by the impugned order, allowed an application under Order XXXIX Rule 2A of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 directing the petitioner to be kept in prison for a period of one month. The said order was confirmed by the Appellate Court by order dated 17 September 2018. From 17 September 2018 there is no interim relief running in petitioner's favour. The period of one month has expired, hence, no interference in the impugned order is called for. The writ petition is dismissed.
