Present writ petition takes exception to orders passed by Additional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune in Grampanchayat Dispute Appeal No. 3 of 2018, whereby petitioners seek to disqualify respondent No. 1 from holding post of Sarpanch under provisions of Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959, on the ground that she incurred disqualification in terms of Section 14(1) (j-5) read with Section 16 of the said Act.

Respondent No.1's term of election was from 2015 to 2020. 3.

Since term of respondent No.1's election expired in 2020, nothing survives for consideration in writ petition. The writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
