This is an application for suspension of substantive sentence imposed upon the applicant by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Vita, District Sangli thereby convicting the applicant under Section­279 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for 3 months and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/­, in default of payment of fine to further suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for 24 days. The appeal preferred by the applicant has been dismissed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Sangli, by Judgment and order dated 14.3.2016 in Criminal Appeal No.132/2010.

2) The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant has already deposited the fine amount in the registry of

3) The substantive sentence imposed upon the applicant is 3­months and hence, the same is hereby suspended during the pendency of the present revision application. 4) The applicant be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond of Rs.15,000/­ with one or two local sureties in the like amount.

5) Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 6) Parties to act on a copy of this order duly authenticated by the registry of this Court.
