An affidavit has been presented by one Nitin Chandrakant Dhage, the then in-charge Commissioner for Persons with disabilities, Maharashtra State, Pune, presently working as Deputy Commissioner and Research Officer, Caste Validity Scrutiny Committee, Pune. It is recorded in the affidavit that the proposal tendered by him to State Government on 2nd May, 2019 has been withdrawn by present Commissioner for persons with disabilities, Maharashtra State, Pune and a fresh communication has been issued to the State Government on 20th July, 2019, requesting the State Government to take decision in respect of the Borey 1/2
spb/ 13wp4125-2018.odt proposal tendered by the Petitioner Institution. The concerned Officer, the then Acting Commissioner, has also tendered unconditional apology for recording misleading contents in the communication, transmitted to the State Government. The unconditional apology tendered by Shri Nitin Chandrakant Dhage, is accepted. An affidavit has also been presented by the present Commissioner, for persons with disabilities, Maharashtra State, Pune, recording the similar contents.
The proposal tendered by the Commissioner for persons with disabilities, Maharashtra State, Pune for consideration of the State Government on 20th July, 2019 shall be decided by the State Government as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from today and it is accordingly directed.
Writ petition is disposed of.
