This matter is placed on today's production board pursuant to an application made by the Learned Additional Government Pleader. He fairly points out that since the enhanced amount awarded is very meagre, this Court would not entertain the Appeal filed by the State. 2.

Hence, the First Appeal is accordingly dismissed. 3.

It is made clear that the Appeal has not been decided on merits and have no bearing on other Appeals, where the quantum of compensation is large.

Needless to state that the Respondents shall always at liberty to withdraw the enhanced amount.
