This Interim Application seeks stay on the execution of the judgment and award dated 31st August 2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Satara in Motor Accident Claim Petition No.110 of 2015.

Mr.Rananaware, learned Counsel for the Applicant/Appellant, would submit that earlier this Court had directed deposit of 50% of the avk 1/2

38-IA-1337-2020.doc decretal amount, subject to which the effect and operation of the impugned order would be stayed. Learned Counsel submits that the said amount has already been deposited in the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Satara. Learned Counsel for the Respondent no.1 / original claimant confirms the same.

Having heard the learned Counsel and having perused the application as well as the record, let the stay granted earlier continue till the final disposal of the Appeal.

Mr.Rananaware, learned Counsel for the Appellant, seeks some more time to supply copies to the Registry so that notice can be issued to Respondent no.2. Let the copies be supplied within a period of one week. Learned Counsel submits that he has just received certified copies of certain documents and would need some more time to file compilation of documents. Accordingly, let the compilation of documents be filed within a period of two weeks. List on 1st September 2023.
